Troubleshooting BoodleBox emails going to spam

Goal

Get BoodleBox email reliably delivered to your institution's inboxes instead of being flagged as spam.

Quick path

  1. Ask your IT/network team to allowlist the boodle.ai domain.

  2. Allowlist the sending address support@sp.boodle.ai.

  3. Allowlist BoodleBox's dedicated sending IP: 156.70.4.148 (mta-70-4-148.sparkpostmail.com).

What to allowlist

  • Domain: boodle.ai

  • Sending address: support@sp.boodle.ai

  • Dedicated IP: 156.70.4.148 — hostname mta-70-4-148.sparkpostmail.com

Add these to your email security gateway's trusted-sender / allowlist settings (e.g., Proofpoint, Mimecast, Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Barracuda) — whichever your institution uses to filter inbound mail.

Good to know

  • Higher-ed spam filters tend to be unusually aggressive. Even with everything above allowlisted, some individual emails may still land in spam — allowlisting reduces this significantly but doesn't guarantee every message clears every filter.

Still stuck?

Have your IT team share the full headers of a flagged message and submit them through our contact form.
