Understanding classroom roles in BoodleBox

Goal

Know the roles people can have inside a class.

The classroom roles

• Student — takes the class and completes assignments.
• Teacher — runs the class; you can have more than one for co-teaching.
• Assistant — view-only teacher access; can see student work and the dashboard but with limited control. Good for TAs.
• External Student — a student not on your team who's invited to a specific class.

You assign these when you enroll someone in a class (see How to create a class and an assignment).
